I finished my slip cover today. I LOVE it! Standing on one leg love it!
Anyway….here’s a couple pictures. I’ll post some details in the next day or two for those that may be interested.
I’ll probably never do another slip cover but it really wasn’t that bad of a process.
I love it too! Brilliant work!
Thank you!
Love it!
Thanks Margaret!
Well, I “standing on one leg” love it, too! And the best part??? It’s a FINISH!!!! You did a stunning job!!!!!!
Thanks Doreen! I wonder where that phrase ‘standing on one leg’ came from? I’ve been using it for years and have no clue of its origin. Must go google it and see if I can uncover the source. 🙂
You are way too funny!!!!! BUT, let me know your findings……………………….
Its unbelievable! LOVE!!!!! Will you write about how you did it?
Thanks Debby! Yes…..in the next day or two I’ll have a post up on it. Seriously though….I think your idea of throwing a quilt over a chair is what I’ll do with the other chair. 🙂
That is absolutely wonderful!
Thanks Deborah!
What a HUGE undertaking!! WELL worth the effort. I adore it!!
Thanks Joy!
How cool is that!? I love it!
Thanks Tammie!
Great job – love it. Waiting to hear more about the process. Looks so pretty.
Thanks Gayle. Hopefully I’ll get a blog post up in the next day or two.
every single picture is more wonderful than the last!
Thanks sissy!
You did a really great job on this, and as someone who has done a slipcover – YES, it is a big deal! Really beautiful.
Thank you so much!
Please come help me make covers for the cushions on my couch! I love what you’ve done with your chair! The wild and colorful style would fit perfectly in my house!
It would be a fun project to work on with someone else. I think 2 sets of hands are always better than one. 🙂
I saw this chair on Bonnie Hunter’s blog. I am signing up for your blog to learn more about the making of the slip cover, as well as other interesting things I know you must do.
I hope I don’t disappoint, Mary in Iowa! 🙂 Thanks for becoming a follower.
That is fantastic. I cover my DH’s ugly recliner with various quilts when we have company, but I like your idea much, much better.!! Love it.
Thanks Dar! I wonder if you can make a slip cover for a recliner or if you’d have to recover it? It would be cool recovered in quilt pieces – that’s for sure. Send me a picture if you decide to do it – I’d love to see it.
