We have just returned from a short jaunt to Singapore and Bali for wedding celebration with K&N. The trip was lovely. No dramas. Wonderful accommodations. Lots of laughs.
I had HUGE expectations about acquiring some Hoffman Bali Batik fabrics while there – but I failed. I just couldn’t be bothered to go into Denpasar to shop. Too many people. Too hot and humid.
The picture of the chicken feet? Yup. I tried them. Not much meat on them. And they were kinda ‘wiggly’.

Oh, and exciting news! I am having a quilt hanging in the Houston Quilt Show this October! It will be in a special exhibit called Primitive and Folk Art sponsored by Primitive Quilts & Projects Magazine. I put the quilt in the mail yesterday. Will write more and post pictures in the next day or two. Right now I need to get ready for art class.
