This is the Christmas project that we are doing with quilt group. Another quick and easy project and a good way to use up jeans that still are in good condition. The link to the project is HERE.

Love that fabric!!
I knew you would! It’s the left over fabric from Mr. W’s civil war quilt. Do you want a piece for your stash? I know your stash is kinda low and all…..
Such a great idea!!!! Thanks for the post/link!
Thanks Doreen. Everyone had good success with their bins. My ‘inside out’ one was the result of a mistake in cutting. 🙂
I really do like it better and will do it that way!!!
p.s. I like the denim cuff w/ the fabric exterior a titch better than the reverse……gets my vote!!! LOL!

Who am I and what am I doing? Both good questions. But seriously - does it matter?
I'm a middle-aged woman who has been sewing, quilting and crafting since I was 10.
Following someone else's pattern is sometimes enough and totally enjoyable. But other times I find it lacking, as it doesn't feed me emotionally or spiritually.
I'm trying to color outside the lines - some days I have more success than others. Fear of sucking holds me back.
This blog helps me see where I've been and hopefully will lead me to continued creatively.
Bottom line - I quilt because I love to quilt. I am in my happy place when sewing.
