At the Canberra quilt show last year, I discovered a range of adorable puppet patterns by Country Keepsakes by Annie Smith (she doesn’t have a web site but you can google and find stores that stock her patterns).
I tried but I couldn’t resist buying a pattern. I had a hard time deciding which one to buy but settled on Chuckles & Marmalade. They have several other patterns that are just as adorable.
While back in SD later in the year, I discovered that my niece (C2) & sister (K2), with the help of their hubs (S1 & S2), have designed a puppet stage as part of a play area for their 3 boys. How’s that for kismet?
Here’s my first (and only) attempt at making puppets. I made a total of 6 – one for each of the great-nephews. They really weren’t difficult and it was a fun diversion but that’s it. I don’t plan to make any more. (Don’t even ask!) Oh, and I had a little fun with photoshop…..gotta love me some photoshop time.
