Who am I?
Who am I and what am I doing? Both good questions. But seriously - does it matter? I'm a middle-aged woman who has been sewing, quilting and crafting since I was 10. Following someone else's patterns keeps me busy but does nothing for me artistically - let alone emotionally or spiritually. I'm trying to color outside the lines - some days I have more success than others. Fear of sucking holds me back. This blog helps me see where I've been and hopefully will lead me forward to something more fulfilling creatively. Welcome.Categories

Okay – those patches are just too cool! I love the textures you get in your work…
Thanks Carly. I’m even thinking to do something like this in my New York Beauty quilt as I like it too. Seems to organic or something.
Echo above comment! Wonderful!! And love the soft, muted colors!
Thanks Doreen. I really am enjoying working on the silk. I need to find a source for silk and do some more experimenting with it. Wouldn’t a 100% silk quilt be lovely? And soft? And light? hmmmm…..
oh this is really a very beautiful direction, love the loose grid holding sense with the frayed edges
Thanks so much!
looking really good…I have not started mine yet, Maybe in the Spring, ;( got some catching up to do,
Thanks Mary. You’ll get there!
